He counsels in all business areas, from initial agreements to complex operations. He established the Law Firm, Santistevan Abogados, SC, 30 years ago as a general business practice firm. 

Before that he practiced at prestigious international law firms in Chicago, Ill. (Baker & McKenzie) and Mexico City.

His Firm is active in establishing companies, commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions, labor, tax, immigration, intellectual property, and regulatory procedures.

His clients come from Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America.

Jorge became admitted to practice with Bar admissions in both:

    (i) Mexico, and
    (ii) the State of Illinois in the United States.

He has Law Degrees from prestigious universities in both Countries:

    • “Abogado” (Escuela Libre de Derecho);
    • Master in Comparative Law (University of Illinois); and
    • Juris Doctor (Chicago Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology).

He lectured on Mexican Law and International Business Law as a:

    • Fulbright Scholar, at the University of San Diego in the 80s; and

      Diego during the 90s.
